Jon has a distinguished record in corporate finance and private equity investing that spans three decades. In his role as Partner, Jon charts the overall strategic direction of Baum Capital Partners. He served as chairman and CEO of George K. Baum & Company from 1994 until 2019 and oversaw the successful sale of George K. Baum & Company to Stifel Financial. Jon was also a Principal and key member of the investment committee for George K. Baum Capital Partners, L.P., a top-performing private equity fund that invested in growth-oriented middle-market companies throughout the United States.
Jon holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University.
